Each year, our Chapter hosts six (6) Training Days. Two of these Training Days incorporate Mock Tests for those that will be testing in the following month's Chapter Test. These events are hosted at various Chapter Members' rural properties, usually on the 2nd Saturday of each month and typically begin at 8:00am. We bring a sack lunch or potluck, a light lunch is served by the host, or we carryout from a local restaurant, then continue with training until approximately 3:00pm.
Necessary equipment is either provided by the Chapter or Chapter Members bring and share their equipment. Training birds are ordered and acquired, with each attendee responsible for the cost of the birds they ordered. Extra birds may be purchased by those who want birds for follow-up training at home.
Prospective members are encouraged to attend a Chapter Training Day. It is the best way to see first hand what our Chapter is all about, and to meet some of our Members. You will also undoubtedly come away from the Day with your training questions answered, as well as a new training tip or technique.
